Brief: Board research about track and trace apps
Group Partners: Xin, Jae. Lulu, Chun
At the beginning of the project, we noticed that it should be based on current situation, which is the COVID-19 pandemic. We start to look for some apps and measures that already exist. Each country has its government measures, we have looked for many examples.

We noticed that most of those tracking and tracing app is based on the same technologies. Bluetooth, GPS, scanning barcodes. Also, they all monitored by whether the company or the government.
Two-way track:
We have an idea about how about letting individuals have the ability to track the system/public facilities. For example, check the density of the public space (Sainsbury, park, mall), how many people have been there during the past few hours/mins and so on.
Mental Health Care Traceability
People who are forced to have quarantine, may feel anxious, fear, etc. (tracking their mental health/activities during the quarantine time)
Medical staffs may require further mental health care (Anxiety, PTSD, Depression,OCD ect.)
Tutorials:
Tutors suggest us to have further deeper research about trust. How did trust being built? What is the micro-level of building trust? Over the past, people are trusting the mechanical products, which could be broken down into several pieces, customers may fix it, change it by themselves. However, technology do not allow the customer to engage in the product, they cannot open it, cannot fix it. Also, how do people trust each others, how do people build trust relationships?
Looking for trust-building from different aspects: peoples, environments, systems, ideas, and objects
Trust threshold levels
-what builds trust?
-why do people trust it?
-small choices
-police forcing? government issue?
