Week 18

Brief: Prototype!

Group Partners: Erick, Sia, Abigail, Chun

The first prototype was made by paper, and they were folded with each other. Because of that, it is an enclosed prototype. I was not able to see how it would happen inside.

I assumed if there is light outside, and the room could rotate, change position, the light would be reflected inside. However, I cannot convince myself if I did not see it happen.

Based on the structure of the first prototype, I fix it and decide to make another one.

Vinyl Sheets:

Vinyl sheets can create magical effects, and they have many different colours.

Prototype 2:

The structure of the building is still polyhedron. Instead of having a hole on top, I decided to separate each wall into three pieces, and each piece could be adjusted.

Each piece can change the angle according to the sunlight and moonlight.
