Brief: Research Methods on real workplaces
Group Partners: Erick, Sia, Abigail, Chun
Research Methods:
Checking the list of research methods, decide to do the behavioral mapping.
Each of our group members went to different kinds of workplaces and do behavioral maps. Focusing on the lighting condition on each, and the working behavior.
I chose outside construction workplace and outdoor market.

Analysis:
We also went to Sainsbury's, LCC's library and Boots. After we collect all of our behavioral mappings, we shared our findings.
Basically, the lighting positions of each workplace are not specifically for workers, they are placed for customers. For example, in Borough Market, the seller would use warm lights to make the food looks more beautiful. like selfie filter; so that people would be attracted by the food and maybe they will stop and purchase.
Moreover, people have the preference of sitting and approaching to the place which warm and has lights. One of our group members was doing behavioral mapping in LCC's library. He found that seats close to windows and has natural light are always busy, seats close to the hallway which do not receive natural lights are still empty.
For the presentation with Fjord people, we decide to make one behavioral mapping as our sample to show how we collect their data.
