Brief: Making the prototype, writing scripts of video, and editing the final draft

We’ve finished our prototype of “personalization,” then we decided to make cards with different shapes of holes on it, which can represent different shapes of lights.

Each of us wrote a script for our protagonist’s story.

Video Shooting and Editing:

To create an experience for the audience, we decided to make the box automatically visible as a journey. We made an abstract video which will show behind, so when the audience put the headphone on and look through, they will feel like a perception journey.

Feedback and Reflection:

Q: The video for the audience to experience is too specific at the beginning but too abstract after.

A: The purpose of this video was to let it reflect what we as designers experienced. The music and the visual was to express the perception of each place.

For the first project, people would like to have a more straight forward design and experience. When we design the sensory map, we were reflecting ourselves; however, we should think about what the actual “user” who could have never been to those places before, how to let them get what we try to express.
